Chef de Partie | Madikwe Game Reserve | 5 Star Lodge

We are looking for an experienced CHEF DE PARTIE to join the team of a well-known, luxury lodge located in the North West Province bordering Botswana..

As ideal candidate you will have:

Matric certificate - Essential
Diploma/Certificate in Culinary Arts
Previous experience and proven track record in hotel/ lodge environment
Must have a valid RSA ID
Fluent in English
Duties and Responsibilities:

To be responsible for the preparation, cooking and presentation of all food items in accordance with the laid down minimum standard as required by the company in line with a 5* Lodge,
Ensure the quality and efficiency of the food and service to the customers is at the highest level always.
Ensure the company standard is upheld by all kitchen staff,
To liaise with the Head Chef & Sous Chef on all functions well in advance of the function to ensure staffing is correct
To hold daily meetings with the Head Chefs and Sous Chefs to ensure smooth running of all kitchen departments.
To ensure that all areas under your control satisfy the most stringent hygiene requirements
Salary Package

Market related, depending on experience

Shared Accommodation
Meals whilst on duty
Starting date: ASAP
