Chef De Partie - Fourways

We are looking for an experienced Chef De Partie for a restaurant in Fourways. This is a really great role for someone who has a keen interest in food and wants to be part of a great team as well as supervise the kitchen staff. Experience in banqueting and large Conferencing drives is required.

Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your specialty
Managing and training any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you
Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus
Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins

Grade 12 (Matric) a copy of the certificate is required
Customer service focus
Flexible schedule, particularly for weekend/evening shifts
2- 4+ years customer service experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
Ability to work flexible hours (shifts)
Reliable transport essential
Must be a SA citizen
