Main purpose
The CIO is responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of a robust and integrated Information Technology Strategy, Digital Transformation and Enterprise Architecture. The CIO will manage the advisory, service delivery and IT governance to ensure DFA has the best available technology capability, skills, and solutions to fuel business growth, competitive differentiation and deliver cost and productivity efficiencies. The CIO will lead the organisation through the Fourth Industrial Revolution and drive change management. Lead the EXCO team through the transformation phase from a business and technology perspective and provide guidance to the board.
Working Conditions
• This position is office based, but moderate travel may be required • Extended work hours where applicable to meet deliverables

We need a CIO with great leadership skills
- The CIO must have good communication skills
- The CIO must have good relationship building and business partnering skills
- We need a CIO that knows how to select and develop a high performing team
- We need a CIO that already has experience in digital transformation projects, including RPA and AI
- We need a CIO that has experience with CRM systems and sales organisations
- We need a CIO that has experience with the latest technologies, such as cloud, Agile, DevOps, APIs, microservices, etc.
- Ideally the CIO must have billing and revenue assurance experience
- The CIO must have cyber security experience


Details:
A Master’s Degree in IT and/or computer science. ? 15 years' experience with no less than 5 years in senior management/executive ? A high-level understanding of the ICT sector – with focus on Telecoms ? Proven ability to provide strategic and transformational leadership ? Demonstratable knowledge and experience in the implementation, integration, and life cycle management of: • Billing/Revenue Assurance systems • Robotic Process Automation/AI • Customer self-service portals • External APIs • CRM, ERP and EDW systems • Front end-analytic applications • Geo-spatial tools, applications, and data systems • Product/service catalogue and opportunity to order orchestration systems • Application architecture/DevOps ? Ability to lead in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment ? Proven track record of digital transformation of organisations and leading for change (60% Digital transformation experience and 40% IT experience)
