We need a COO to secure the functionality of business to sustain and drive this extensive growth.

Your Purpose:
We are looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee our organisation’s ongoing operations and procedures. You will be responsible for business efficiency to drive extensive and sustainable international growth.

The COO role is a key member of the senior management team, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). You’ll have to maintain control of diverse business operations, so we expect you to be an experienced and efficient leader. You need excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics.

What You’ll Do:
• Oversee daily operations of the company (Marketing, Sales, Finance, Legal, Trainings and Accreditation, Translations and Global Adoption and Roll Out etc.). Lead employees and encourage maximum performance and dedication.
• Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth (agreeing objectives with Senior Managers). Define and implement production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards.
• Establish policies that promote company culture and vision. Embody the culture and values of the company and act as an ambassador of our purpose and brand at all times.
• Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures. Evaluate performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics.
• Ensure efficient Ways of Working (WoWs) with each operations function.
• Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.). Manage relationships with faculty / partners / vendors – manage relationships with marketing agencies and market research agencies.
• Complete regular inspections/audits on each operational function to review the quality of work delivered and implement changes where gaps are identified.
• Provide financial information to senior management, ensuring that operational costs are kept in check for the long-term viability of the organisation.
• Champion the customer in the organisation, by taking ownership of the customer journey and experience and make sure the customer is at the heart of all company decisions.
• Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance.

Your Background:
• BSC/BA IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION OR RELEVANT FIELD.
• PROVEN EXPERIENCE AS CHIEF OPERATING OFFICE OR RELEVANT ROLE.
• DEMONSTRATABLE COMPETENCY in strategic planning and business development.
• UNDERSTANDING OF BUSINESS FUNCTIONS such as HR, Finance, Marketing etc.
• WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF IT/BUSINESS INFRASTRUCTURE AND MS OFFICE.
• WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
• OUTSTANDING ORGANISATIONAL AND LEADERSHIP ABILITIES.
• EXCELLENT INTERPERSONAL AND PUBLIC SPEAKING SKILLS.
• APTITUDE IN DECISION-MAKING AND PROBLEM-SOLVING.

BONUS POINTS:
• Master’s degree in business or related field (i.e. MSc/Masters of Business Administration (MBA)).
• Experience in working within an Agile/Scrum methodology environment.
