Job description:
The Claims Administrator is involved with coordinating and assisting with the administration of claim payments and contribute towards the finalisation of the claim end-to-end.

Responsibilities:
(Commercial Lines, Motor and Non-Motor, Personal Lines)
• Checking of all information of regarding claims payments to ensure payment is due and correct
• Make payments to Insureds in terms of the Agreement of Loss
• Make payments to Service Providers in terms of the Invoices received
• Send Proofs of Payments
• Ensure payments are made within Service Level Agreements
• Ensure discounts are applied as per Service Level Agreements
• Negotiate discounts where possible with Service Providers who do not have a Service Level Agreement
• Raise credits for recoveries/refunds/salvage as identified and received
• Follow up on Refunds required
• Update all systems and platforms with relevant information
• Detection of fraud and management of fraudulent indicators
• Thorough and timeous feedback to relevant parties
• Handling all payment queries

Minimum Requirements:
• Matric
• Full qualification: NQF4 (Short-term Insurance)
• RE 5 successfully completed
• A minimum of two (2) years’ claims handling experience (both commercial & personal lines)
• Tial system experience will be an advantage
• Must have demonstrable experience in the planning and implementation of business processes and system management
• DOFA confirmation from FSCA
