Overview
This key role will help drive the “Always On / Always Available” strategy through Cloud Adoption and App Modernisation. The incumbent will be hands-on building Modern Cloud Applications, Automated CI/CD Pipelines, Facilitating Test Automation, keeping the company’s Digital applications on latest PaaS cloud platforms (Azure and AWS). IT & Change is a collaborative agile environment where skills, attitude, and cultural fit are all extremely important.

As the Cloud Solutions Architect, you will have a great understanding of Windows Operating Systems, Cloud Platforms, continuous deployment to Azure and AWS cloud platforms, as well as On-Priem.

Minimum Requirements:
• Degree qualified – Information Systems / Computer Science
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft Technologies including Server 2012/2019, AD, AAD, DFS, DHCP, DNS, SAML
• Solid understand of cloud networking
• Experience with Automation, CI/CD pipelines, Blue/Green Deployments
• Demonstrated experience with DevOps toolsets – Team City, Octopus Deploy, Chef, Jenkins, Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge and experience in building and managing cloud solutions in Azure, AWS, and O365.
• Ability to create and debug PowerShell scripts
• Experience in Agile delivery (Scrum or variation) using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Kanban
• Proven knowledge and experience of ITIL service management concepts and practices
• Understanding of APRA CPS234, PCI, ISO27001 and ASD Security Essentials

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support the continuous improvement of Customer Experience by understanding and ensuring our existing and new customers’ expectations are met or exceeded.
• Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in building Cloud VMs and migrating application workloads from Old VMs to New VMs, as well as modernize the application hosting by adopting PaaS over IaaS infrastructure.
• Manage cloud-based infrastructure, such as, AWS, API Gateways, Lambda Functions, Elastic BeanStack, Azure Web Apps, Azure SQL, IaaS VMs and others.
• Provide technical high-level system and process documentation as required.
• Work unsupervised towards tasks agreed with your line manager.
• Drive the development of a mature and robust cloud hosting architecture.
• Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies and standards, including documentation, configuration, security, and change management.
• Design and build Automated CI/CD Pipeline for Digital applications using Team City, GIT, Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps, etc.

• Work in a small, dynamic agile team on new projects and enhancements to existing systems in concert with business priorities. This includes working in sprints, helping define/estimate stories, and creating light-weight documentation.
