Position based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia:
This position is responsible for the management of entire operations in Cold Mill for product lines and achieving all production requirements, product quality requirements, on time delivery, all at budgeted levels. These objectives are achieved in part by coordinating with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and other Rolling departments. Responsible to manage all the people utilized and control operational processes of Cold Rolling operations, including planning the use of all materials and human resources, achieving production targets, and delivering results through; Lean Manufacturing techniques and philosophies, 5S, TPM, Six Sigma and problem solving. Promote EHS policy, implement the EHS management system and ensure continual improvement of EHS performance in day-to-day operations. This includes compliance to all Environment, Health, and Safety Policies and Procedures. Oversee all operational activities and housekeeping efforts in the Cold Mill to ensure employees and equipment safety. Maintain an ongoing knowledge of manufacturing processes, operations, and quality standards to help ensure the utilization of the best production methods and meeting of quality specifications. Ensure training and development of all operating personnel to meet the ISO/IATF standards. Ensure these skills are evaluated at appropriate intervals and developmental plan(s) established. Responsible to set and measure performance metrics and process parameter KPI's. Ensure quality, continuity and efficiency of cold rolling mills, and coil handling equipment as well as all the auxiliary equipment. Performs root cause analysis of issues and leads development and implementation of corrective actions to improve safety, equipment productivity, stability, quality, and overall reliability
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Material Science, Metallurgy or Metallurgical Engineering from an accredited institution with previous experience in rolling mill manufacturing.
Experience utilizing and applying Lean Manufacturing tools.
Experience:
Minimum of 15 years' experience in a manufacturing environment managing a complex operations environment.
Minimum of 5-year Rolling Mill process or engineering experience is required.
