Commercial Executive – Swaziland
Salary: Market Related, Permanent

Purpose of Position:

Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a Commercial Executive (Senior Management Level) whom shall sit on the Executive Committee and will be responsible for the planning, developing and the implementation of commercial strategies and activities of the company, accelerating growth and ensuring maximum efficiency, quality, service and profitability.

Minimum Requirements:

• MBA Masters in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering; or Chartered Accountant Qualification
• ITC Accreditation an added benefit.
• Project management and legal experience is an added advantage
• Previous working experience as a commercial executive for at least 7-10 years
• Experience in client relationship management
• In-depth knowledge of market analysis and metrics
• Hands on experience in creating reports and managing budgets
• Three years or more project management experience
• Experience in contract negotiation and risk management

Duties:

Commercial Management

• Develop commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth.
• Ensure effective implementation of the strategies by providing direction, structure, frameworks, plans etc.
• Define the standards and set targets for performance for all activities.
• Manage and monitor the overall performance of all commercial activities.
• Conduct market research & analysis to create detailed business plans on expansion, business development etc.
• Monitor performance and alignment with company strategy and industry standard.
• Drive adequate risk mitigation and controls.
• Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure that their requirements are met.
• Acquire new customers and manage client relationships.
• Review all contracts ensuring compliance and adherence by all parties.
• Support all departments with commercial and related issues.
• Establish and manage relationships with all stakeholders.
• Track, measure and analyze commercial metrics using KPIs.
• Manage and track expenditures, financial goals and budgets.
• Responsible for compliance with legal/statutory requirements and agreed obligations.
• Reporting progress on a monthly basis.

Project Management

• Responsible for special projects
• Coordinate internal and third party vendors for execution of projects
• Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all stakeholders
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
• Measure project performance
• Review key risks and set mitigation actions.
• Create and maintain project documentation
• Ensure timely delivery within scope and budget
• Provide reports on an ad hoc basis as required

Financial Management

• Directs the preparation of all company financial statements and reports
• Compares sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; makes or oversees any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets.
• Analyses operations to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Dotted line Management of the Creditors and Debtors teams.
• Working with various stakeholders, internal and external, to ensure Projects, Strategies and Focus is brought about to growth and continuous improvement.
