Commercial Insurance Relationship Manager

Description:
? Bilingual (Afrikaans & English) candidate with minimum 2 years Commercial Insurance experience, required to grow the existing book through effective relationship management. Liaise with 28-32 Offices and Brokerages.

? Minimum requirements:
• Grade 12 / Tertiary qualification advantageous
• Minimum 3-4 years Commercial Insurance Underwriting experience essential
• Minimum 60 FAIS credits before 2010 or full NQF4 after 2010 essential
• RE essential
• Own car and valid driver’s license essential
• Previous sales driven / target driven experience required
• Computer literate - Ski knowledge preferred but not essential
• Ability to grow portfolio, retain clients and achieve targets required
• MUST be able to travel extensively
• Gain greater control of business relationships by forming a movement that seeks to use a scientific approach
• Focus on generic growth – renewals and amendments
• Handle own administration
• Identify new and develop current business resources
• Enhance growth of portfolio – business retention, quality of business, upselling
• Enhance Broker relationship and manage unprofitable/productive brokers
• Analyse needs of different partners
• Queries and effective action to solve problems
• Analyse and supply Broker packs
• Maintain Broker contracts and system user rights (Ski)
• Manage business partner relationships
• Categorising of Brokers
• Identify training needs and relay to Trainer and provide training on Branch level
• Ensure Broker satisfaction – surveys to establish service levels
• Manage effective use of operational systems
