To effectively lead activities of the community development and create a portfolio of community-based projects

that will bring social and economic benefit to communities in this region in Mpumulanga Province.

To effectively lead administration and financial records working hand in hand with

the Project Manager.

The Company recognizes that although conservation is vital, for it to succeed the needs of the people

(as well as the animals) need to be taken into account.

Making conservation worthwhile for the rural communities will help to ensure that the parks survive.

Upliftment is achieved both through the provision of basic needs,

and through empowering communities with sustainable economic development.

Provision of basic needs such as access to food, water, education and health services is seen as vital

as without these resources, sustainable development is difficult.

The long-term objective is to build capacity and facilitate economic development

by facilitating local businesses and skills development thereby creating jobs for the community.

The primary mission is to help people help themselves by teaching individuals the necessary skills and

providing them with strategic opportunities to achieve sustainability and economic advancement.

Requirements:

Tertiary Education and 3 years Community Development and Welfare

hands on experience in communities bordering luxurious Game Lodges in South Africa.

Tertiary education in administration, computer literacy and financial reporting

Proven track record in budget management and transparent financial management

Strong business acumen

Financial & admin orientated candidate.

Excellent communication, organization and planning skills.

Shown dedication to eco-tourism.

Be able to motivate a team and lead your team.

Ability to adapt and learn.

Vibrant, friendly, Co-operative and Compassionate.

Able to assist in teaching sustainable skills for the community.

Events management for community functions.

Duties:

Supervising all current projects as set out by the company's Project.

Networking to build contacts and to keep the ones we already have.

Keeping all records of meetings and communications on file.

All paperwork is signed by relevant people and filed in files in office.

Contracts, meeting minutes and discussions are recorded and filed.

Any issues, needs and problems to be immediately communicated with the General Managers.

Must keep excellent records of all expenses incurred as per the financial record template.

Provide excellent communication to General Managers and Project Manager regarding work done.

Carrying out various all administrative tasks such as guest emails, donor relations,

supplier relations.

Must provide a monthly written report including a summary of work done,

and financial records including expenses incurred and income received.

Ensuring accurate communicate with the Lodges re bookings and posting charges on Protel.

Reconciliation of accounts with the Financial Controller on a monthly basis.
