We’re looking for a Company Secretarial Administrator experienced with the Companies Act, corporate governance, compliance principles and CIPC to maintain and organise company documents, files and records, both in their physical and electronic forms.
This is not a normal secretarial role - please read carefully.
Duties:
• Obtain relevant information and documents from clients in order to register private, public, external, private liability and non-profit companies
• Conversions of close corporations
• Maintain statutory records
• Send out reminders and submit Annual Returns
• Make amendments to and register statutory details
• Register Beneficial Ownership with CIPC
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies and industry standards
• Submit Compliance Checklists
Requirements:
• Matric / Grade 12
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Law or Finance
• A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience with an accounting firm
• Knowledge of Companies Act, corporate governance, compliance principles and CIPC
• Able to converse in both Eng & Afr (non-negotiable)
• Excellent communication skills
• Outstanding time management, planning and organising skills
• Attention to detail
• Deadline driven
• Valid driver’s license and own transport
