Apply knowledge, functional insights and experience to analyse and assess moral issues, ethical dilemmas and requirements on ethical decisions; Exercise judgment and determine most appropriate ways to deal with moral issues, ethical dilemmas and requirements on ethical decisions; Assist in the development and implementation of ethical standards for the Group; Develop and implement ethical guidelines, policies, processes and procedures, including those related to Human Rights; Provide advice, guidance and training regarding interpretation and application of the Code of Conduct and Human Rights Commitments; Develop the required future ethical standards that will be required to achieve approved strategic intent; Assist in developing ethics maturity model with regards to meeting these ethical culture standards and milestones.

A law degree and/or a degree in business ethics; 5 years’ experience within compliance, ethics and regulatory affairs; A working knowledge of the philosophical roots of ethics, ethical reasoning and ethical decision making. Familiarity with classical moral theory (ethics as a discipline); A proficient knowledge of business ethics; A Certified Ethics Officer, as certified by the Ethics Institute of South Africa; and experience in respect of Human Rights.
