Superintendent needed for construction company in Southern Suburbs, Cape Town

Requirements:
• Valid tertiary qualification
• Five years' relevant experience
• Valid Code EB (08) driver's licence
• Knowledge of MV, LV and construction networks
• Sound knowledge of relevant safety legislation, processes and procedures

Key Performance Areas:
• Monitor and report on the maintenance and installations of the MV, LV & Construction Section
• Assess the adequacy of procedures and systems
• Evaluate current security and safety measures and correct deviations from set procedures
• Maintain the Section's Health &Safety Risk Programme and ensure that working procedures and conditions comply with the Occupational Health & Safety Act
• Plan, prioritise and schedule project and maintenance work
• Ensure that the Section is capably positioned in terms of material, equipment and staff
• Co-ordinate and control staff performance, productivity and discipline
• Identify and attend to HR needs
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of repair, construction, installation and maintenance work
• Maintain records/administrative information within the sector
• Ensure adherence to administrative deadlines
