1. MAIN ACTIVITIES -
HEALTH SERVICE BENEFITS
• MARKETING:
To take responsibility for the building and maintenance of relationships with existing companies as well as sourcing of new business via corporate and individual markets.
• NEW BUSINESS:
To obtain new clients within both the corporate and individual environment and meeting sales targets set.
• OTHER:
Contacting all new leads within 12 hours.
Provide client with feedback.
Resolving client queries.
Gap cover and medical aid scheme sales.
Providing support to clients/members.
Providing advice and quotations.
General administration on CRM.

PENSION FUND BENEFITS
• Build strong relationships with potential new local authority clients; introduction of potential new local authority clients to the consulting team and creating brand awareness for Verso with current and potential new local authority clients
• Present the benefits at new employee inductions and ensure that sufficient client collateral is available for the induction sessions for one of the retirement funds under administration.

2. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Matric or equivalent.
- FAIS compliant, i.e., 120 FAIS credits.
- Representative –
a. Category 1 Pension Funds Benefits
b. Category 1 Health Service Benefits
- Certificate of good standing from the South African Revenue Services; and
- Fit & proper statement.

3. SKILLS REQUIRED:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Sales orientated.
Articulate presentation and professionalism.
Fluent in English, Zulu, Xhosa, Sotho, Afrikaans
Presentable voice and confident telephone use.
Client service orientated.
Attention to detail/accuracy.
Organized and assertive.
Time management skills.
Proactive – uses initiative (Self-starter - able to self-motivate).
Must be able to work independently and under pressure.
Strong work ethic.
Must have empathy and be able to listen to clients.
Be a team player.

4. TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:
Health Broker accreditation is to be obtained from each Product House the Company is accredited with. A good understanding of the knowledge of medical scheme industry – corporate and individual clients. Comply with CMS regulations.

5. TECHNOLOGY:
Extensive practical experience on Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Own reliable transport with valid code B (8) driver’s license.

6. WORKING EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3 - 5 years relevant industry related experience.
