Content Consultant / Content Specialist

• Writing, editing and proofreading internal and external marketing and business documents. The focus of this role is specifically on writing and editing product communication and corporate documents, such as policy documents and board reports;
• Adhering to editorial style guide, ensuring we produce high-quality, error-free copy.
• Ensuring consistency of message and tone, coherence and alignment to the “Love Change” brand philosophy in our written communication documents.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to take briefs, and secure signoffs
• Working with our creative and social media team to brainstorm content ideas, in line with our strategy and in support of various brand initiatives.

Qualification Skills and Experience required:

• A tertiary journalism, copywriting or communications qualification.
• at least three years’ proven experience in a copywriting role.
• previous financial services and corporate writing experience.
• You have excellent English writing, editing and proofreading skills
• You are passionate about writing and communicating in clear, simple language
• Clear, up-to-date understanding of print, online and digital media trends
• Exceptional communication skills and can work collaboratively in a team
• Work under pressure, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
• Combine a high degree of creativity with meticulous attention to detail.
• Preference will be given to candidates schooled in the principles of plain language writing
