Contracts Manager - Civil Concrete Structures

Description:

• The position is responsible for the delivery of a construction project in particular Concrete Structures in particular water retaining structures such
as WWTW and Reservoirs ensuring profitable, on time and quality completion thereof.

Formal Qualification:

• BSc / BTech Construction Management / Civil Engineering Degree.

Experience:

Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the heavy Civil Concrete construction Industry. Extensive experience on concrete structures (i.e reservoirs, super structures water treatment works and waste water treatment works contracts);

Special Requirements:

• Client liaison.
• Report writing.
• Problem solving skills.
• Good interpersonal skills
• Scheduling and Programming of work is a must
• Ability to manage quality of Construction on site
• Ability to deal with and manage Subcontractors
• Extensive Technical Knowledge of Civil and building construction
• Ability to manage cost on the site
• Experience in health and safety on sites.
• Payment Certificates.
• Ability to complete projects in time.

Computer Competency Requirements:

• Computer literate in MS Office and MS Projects

Languages (Written & Spoken)
• Good command of the English language
