Job Description

Lead multi-disciplinary engineering projects
Budgeting and costing for projects
Oversee building works
General project administration
Assist with the preparation of proposals and negotiating contracts
Supervise subcontractors
Writing of technical design reports
Review client proposals in terms of civil engineering and design
Provide technical input for basic and detail design
Manage and oversee all aspects of Civil Engineering deliverables
Ensure the delivery of Civil Engineering quality work to other disciplines
Assist in planning and reviewing of technical work and maintaining project schedules and work plans
Development and implementation of initiatives to improve cost effectiveness and efficiency of the project execution
Effective management and control of risks through engineering designs

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 5 years experience in Infrastructure Projects with a proven track record
B Eng / B Eng in Civil engineering with 5 yrs post graduate experience
ECSA Registered or eligible
Must be registered with a professional body
Must have experience in working for a listed company
Experience with Civil structures and design experience
Must have a valid driver’s license
