Job Description
This position is responsible for the design, development and testing of any given control system according to client specific requirements.

Qualifications
Degree, Technical Diploma or NQF Equivalent in Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering.
3 - 6 years operational and design experience (inclusive of relevant design program exposure)
Experience of control system design.
Knowledge of international electrical and instrumentation specifications and standards
Knowledge of PLC (Siemens, Rockwell and Schneider) and Scada systems (Siemens, Aveva and Adroit.)
Certification in Achestra and/or Unity and/or Rockwell will be advantageous
Knowledge of Mines Health and Safety Act and OHS Act will be advantageous
Exposure to mining industry will be advantageous.
Knowledge of ISO9001 and compilation/maintenance of safety files will be advantageous
Knowledge of ISO14001 and compilation/maintenance of safety files will be advantageous
Knowledge of ISO45001 and compilation/maintenance of safety files will be advantageous
