Our client, an academic intuition, requires the service Corporate Brand & PR Manager in their marketing department.

Key performance areas:

? Develop communication / public relations strategy
? Effectively manage discrepancies between corporate identity and corporate reputation using an appropriate marketing mix elements
? Develop annual implementation plans, to deliver strategy
? Identify customer segments and stakeholder-focused marketing innovation (internal and external)
? Develop performance matrix against set objectives
? Budget management
? Manage brand CI and collateral
? Develop and manage corporate advertising campaigns
? Work with others to create compelling content: text, image and video
? Assist with SEO opportunities
? Ensure relevant content is posted in accordance with content calendar
? Establish and manage relationships with media/industry journalists
? Manage incoming media requests
? Work with internal team to deliver events, within budget, that meet expectations
? Networking/ participating in industry events to build brand profile
? Customer Experience Management
? Manage partnerships and sponsorships
? Manage relationships with related brands
? Monitor competitors activity and suggest improvements
? Undertake research and extract insights and recommend improvements

The successful candidate must have:

? Matric with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business Management, or equivalent qualification
? Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing, marketing services, or brand management
? Must have a strong understanding/knowledge in both classical and digital marketing
? Excellent computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
? Have a proven ability to take initiative and to make an independent judgement in performing tasks
? Have a professional appearance, professional conduct and the delivery of outputs that comply with the highest quality standards
? Enthusiastic, self-motivated, organised and methodical
? Must have a pro-active problem-solving outlook and be able to work under pressure
? Must be able to function in a multilingual environment
? Willingness to work after hours if necessary
