A Cape Town law firm with an established client base, has a vacancy for an attorney with at least 3-4 years’ post-article experience to start as soon as possible. The application shall have the following:
• Experience in corporate and commercial law, with excellent knowledge and understanding of the Companies Act, Close Corporations Act, Consumer Protection Act and National Credit Act;
• Experience in litigation - both Magistrate’s Court and High Court;
• Knowledge of Intellectual Property Law would be a definite advantage;
• Computer literacy with excellent knowledge and understanding Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint & Excel;
Salary is negotiable and will depend on experience and qualifications. Experience level will be tested during interviews and references will be checked and verified.
