Under the management of our Management Accountant, we are looking for a Cost Accountant to monitor manufacturing and inventory costs for all 3 sites.

Responsibilities:
• Develop Manufacturing analysis reports and analysing variances to assist in identifying and resolving matters:
o WIP Variances (Yield and Cost)
o Manufacturing Cycle
o Through Put (standards per unit)
o Capacity Utilization
o OEE
o Schedule or Production Attainment
o Wastage
o OTIF
• Assisting in the improvement in internal controls related to inventory and manufacturing movement
• Verify accurate costs
• Monitoring inventory transactions and ensuring ERP live and accurate
• Implementation and management of periodic stock counts
• Implementation and management of recovery costs within BOMs
• Assist in Month End closing
• Special projects as required

• Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices
o Bin locations
o FIFO
o Lot Traceability
o Expiry dates
• Maintenance and implementation of barcoding system
• Developing inventory analysis reports and analyzing variances
• Assisting in the improvement in internal controls related to inventory movement
• Verify accurate costs
• Monitoring inventory transactions and ensuring ERP live and accurate
• Implementation and management of periodic stock counts
• Special projects as required

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Finance or Cost Accounting (required)
• An understanding of GMP and HACCP
• Is flexible and able to work as part of a team
• Advanced user in MS Excel
• Syspro experience advantageous
