RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensuring correctness, accuracy and validity of Supplier Purchase Price and Standard Cost
Assist in ensuring accuracy of Bill of Material in line with set standards.
Ensure that cash is deposited frequently to mitigate risk and perform bank reconciliation with cashbook account.
Ensure that the depreciation adjustment is updated.
Analyse, review and create Inventory items
Review and updating Supplier Purchase Contract Prices; Bank accounts and Cashbook reconciliation and Collate Capex Invoices
Review and update Supplier Contract Prices and amend Purchase Orders as requested by Purchasing Department and maintain Standard Cost accordingly.
Maintain inventory list by creating new stock codes; amend existing stock codes and flag as obsolete as required by internal controls.
Update and ensure correctness of inventory revaluation (roll-up)
Review Inventory Customs Form in line with APDP requirements
Organize Cash Deposits and ensure that cash is deposit frequently.
Ensure that bank reconciliation is complete and outstanding items are cleared and in line with Cashbook
Assist in updating of Bill of Materials
Assist in Collating of Capex Invoices to support Capitalized Assets & AIS Claim and ensure completeness.
Assist with in Fixed Asset management
Assist in calculation of (NRCS) National Regulator for Compulsory Standards levy & Koito Royalties
Assist with audits on ad hoc basis
Assist with budget updating of Bill of Materials
Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
B Tech in Cost and Management Accounting / B Comm
3-years’ experience in similar role
High level of confidentially, integrity and trustworthiness
Must be capable of working extremely accurately, especially when under tight deadline pressures.
Must be able an analytical thinker
Good communication and organisational skills
Computer Literate (MS Office, Internet, Email)
Must be proficient in Excel
Prior Syspro experience would be an advantage
Team player that is able to multi-task and assist team when needed
