Our client, who is a fish processing company that import and export
seafood products from and to various countries worldwide, wants to appoint a Cost Management Accountant.

Job purpose:

Manage the company investments, risk management, budgeting, planning,
strategizing and reporting.

Key responsibilities: • Review of monthly detailed general ledger line items
• Management and analyzing of monthly expenditures and probability
• Preparation of monthly journal entries
• Preparing management accounts, budgets, forecasts and commentaries
• Prepare monthly management reporting
• Ensuring allocations of incomes and expenses between different
departments are done correctly
• Prepare and review various costing sheets in MAREL and Excel
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
• Business partnering
• Review of inventory costings
• Recommend methods and strategies for cost saving initiatives
• Other ad hoc duties as required by the Financial Director.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Matric
• CIMA qualification or similar is essential
• Strong IT ERP Systems experience required
• Must have excellent computer skills with MS-Office (Outlook, Excel and
Word).
• SAP advantageous

Experience needed: 10 years relevant work experience
