Our client is a leading import and export company in the frozen foods industry. They are currently recruiting for a Costing clerk to facilitate the capturing of production batches and batch costing on the accounting/production system at their plant in Atlantis.
Key responsibilities:
Open and record sale orders (Goods Issue Voucher) and purchase orders (Product Returned Purchase Orders) on MAREL if and when so required by the factory or instructed by management. Open and/or close purchase and sales orders when batches are opened and closed. Ensure documents have been received and signed by the factory and that all totals balances with the opened sales order totals for raw material. Capturing raw material totals for relevant batches. Pull and process overviews with raw material and finished goods (CMT rates added). Pull location status from MAREL and add batch status and loading dates. Open sales order (Goods Issue Voucher) on MAREL when batches are closed. Complete sales orders in Evolution when signed invoices is completed and sent. Ensure department tracking sheet/s is accurately updated on a daily basis. Prepare reports showing total cost, selling prices and rates profits.
Qualifications/Skills:
Matric
Any tertiary education related to accounting/cost accounting.
Must have excellent computer skills with MS-Office (Outlook, Excel and Word).
Evolution advantageous
SAP advantageous
Experience needed: Minimum of 4 years of related industry experience. (Debtors/Creditors/Costing in
manufacturing)
Must have own transport.
