Our well established commecial vehicle client based in Pomona currently holds a vacancy for an experienced costing/warranty clerk.
The candidate must reside in the East Rand area otherwise your application will not be considered.

Main Purpose of Job:
To ensure that the warranty administration related to the service department is updated and accurate.

RELATIONSHIP AND PERSONAL ACTIVITIES:
Directly responsible to the Service Manager
Relationship with customers and company staff

LIMITS OF AUTHORITY:
Capital Expenditure : No purchasing authority
Operation Expenditure: No credit note authority

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assist with service administration when necessary
Assist with service calls when necessary
Check job cards on a daily basis
Sales manufacturing dates are correct
Chassis and Engine dates are correct
Check service history
Check extra work required
Correct allocation of costs
Process invoices for outwork accurately and timeously
Correct labour costs to be allocated to repair costs
Quotations when necessary
Do general costing accurately
Check work in progress
Attend to queries and correction
Check previous days invoices are reflected on the system
Assist with service calls when necessary
Track Debtors
Track outstanding cash
