Our client in the agricultural industry requires the service of a Credit Analyst.

Key performance areas:

? Conduct credit assessment processes on the portfolio of applications.
? To be familiar with and apply regulatory and compliance requirements for credit provision.
? To be familiar with general and identify and mitigate risks in credit provision environment.
? Ensure processes and compliance with required assessments and reporting of credit assessments.
? Ensure compliance to best practices in credit assessment, risk identification and mitigation as well as adherence to legislation and regulation.

The successful candidate must have:

? Matric with a tertiary qualification in Commerce/Credit Management/Agriculture Economics
? 2 – 3 Years’ Credit assessment experience in a project management environment.
? 2 – 3 Years’ Knowledge and experience in the agriculture/horticulture sector.
? 2 – 3 Years’ Experience managing stakeholder relationships
? 2 – 3 Years’ Experience recording, maintaining, providing and managing of recorded information with high levels of accuracy.
? 1 – 2 Years’ Public and private sector experience
? 1 – 3 Years Project management practice experience
? 2 – 3 Years Knowledge of the NCA, CPA, FICA, PFMA, MFMA, credit regulations and requirements
? 2 – 3 Years Agricultural credit assessment experience will be advantageous
? Excellent computer literacy (MS Office)
? The ability to work with and lead a team of people.
? The ability to analyse situations, identify and mitigate risk to enable a best possible solution
? The ability to assess situations, to identify problem situations and devise solutions to benefit all parties involved.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Must be fully bilingual)
? The ability to apply the mathematical principles and laws to execute outcomes requiring mathematical application.
? The ability to manage time effectively and efficiently in accordance with work priorities to ensure qualitative outcomes.
