Requirements

• Completed Grade 12
• Post-matric Bookkeeping qualification or Financial qualification
• 2 – 3 years exp in a Creditors Clerk position
• Must have financial background & be familiar with bookkeeping practices
• Experience in Sage Evolution accounting
• MS Office with advanced Excel skills
• Own transport
• Experience in the agricultural, manufacturing or mining industry will be beneficial
• Professional, deadline-driven & “first time right” approach.
• Strong numeracy skills, high level of accuracy & detail-oriented

Duties
• Daily transactions of Accounts Payable Ledger
• Accounts Payable duties to ensure suppliers are paid in timely manner
• Capture invoices & credit notes
• Reconcile per supplier statement & Creditors Ledger, resolving discrepancies
• Obtain relevant bank details from suppliers
• Send proof of payment & remittance advice to suppliers
• Report on status of accounts payable
• Maintain organised filing system
• Interact with internal partners & update records
• Report to Financial team leader.
