CREDITORS CLERK
3 MONTH Contract with possibility to go permanent

R10k - R12k per month

The role will include:
- Ensure invoices are processed timeously and accurately
- Liaise with Procurements/Buyers about invoices queries
- Handle enquiries and give feedback to superiors
- File supplier invoices and statements
- Reconcile to general ledger accurately
- Assist other creditors clerks with reconciliations to maximize cash flows, minimize losses
- Ensure credit requests from suppliers are received and processed into SAP
- Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports; age analysis; vendor payment analysis and other ad-hoc reports as required by Management


Requirements for the role:
- Grade 12
- Minimum 3 years Creditors experience
- Accountancy and Bookkeeping experience
- Strong ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure easily
- Willingness to work to strict schedules to maximize settlement discounts
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Pastel Evolution experience; Strong proficiency in MS Office particularly Excel
