DATA ANALYST
NORTHERN SUBURBS

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with the ability to work with stakeholders and assess potential risks. Strong understanding and addressing of metadata standards needed. Proven experience in working with tight deadlines!

Some Responsibilities will include:
• Use statistical methods to analyse data and generate useful business reports
• Work with management team to create a prioritized list of needs for each business segment
• Identify and recommend new ways to save money by streamlining business processes
• Use data to create models that depict trends in the consumer population as a whole
• Work with departmental managers to outline the specific data needs for each business method analysis project
• Provide quality assurance of imported data
• Commissioning and decommissioning of data sets

The successful candidate will be in possession of the following:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science
- 2 Years + Data mining experience
- 2 Years experience in data analyst field
- Experience in FMCG is needed
- Proficiency with Power Point / GAAP / POS / SQL / Advanced Excel skills
- High level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large scale databases
- Proven experience in handling large data sets and relational databases
