JOB DESCRIPTION:
The incumbent will be responsible for administration and data capturing of records of consumption of Diesel for trucks within a logistics enterprise in Boksburg. The ideal candidate should have experience above average computer skills and excellent communication skills.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Administrative skills such as keeping a filing system for invoices and proof of payments.
• Must have some debtors/creditors experience:
o Reconcile of monthly accounts
o Able to identify problem on account and how to go about fixing it, ie. Creating a debit or a credit to rectify account
o Pay attention to detail, capturing invoices accurately and efficiently
• Must have problem solving skills.
• Be able to take own initiative on daily tasks.
• Person will be required to wear safety boots and PPE going into the yard, as part of the Operational Procedure – Not on a daily basis but this is required for Health and Safety requirement at the depot, therefore the person must be comfortable with these requirements.
• Being able to work on excel would be advantageous as some reports are done using excel using various formulas such as:
o Vlookup, Sumif, Averages, Autosum etc., accuracy and efficiency is essential;
o Knowledge of Pivot tables - doesn’t have to be an expert
• Must be Microsoft Office Package Proficient:
o MS Word
o MS Excel
o Outlook
• Be able to type using correct grammar and spelling and professional email etiquette.
Special Requirements:
• Own Transport and Drivers licence.
• English/Afrikaans speaking.
• Must live in or around the Boksburg area, as there is often callouts required to address at the Depo, like fuel deliveries.
