We are looking to employ 3 Data Management Delivery Leads for a client based in Fourways.
Job description
PURPOSE OF POSITION
• Contribute to the design, build and implementation of the mapping, ETL programming from the source systems to the Data Warehouse.
• To provide world class services in the modelling, design, development, preparation, implementation and optimization of Data Warehouses, Data Marts and Data Cubes in the financial sector.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• • Liaise with clients, assigned developers and the Practice Principals to ensure:
o Projects on track;
o All issues resolved;
o Budget on track;
• Draw up weekly job cards defining what is to be done in order to complete selected deliverables for that week
• Actioning Code Development
• Ensuring that any development done is saved
• Ensuring that assigned Jnr Developer is provided a job card and that the tasks assigned to the Jnr developer is executed
• Attend daily meetings related to the project and their deliverables
• Attend and contribute Weekly Client Demo sessions
• Accurately logging time entries daily and that Jnr developer have logged their time entries correctly.
• Develop and maintain processes and standards to enable data access, reporting, quality and data management;
• Design, build and manage data marts
TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Overall 5+ years of IT industry experience;
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with ETL tools and data integration;
• Ability to analyse data to identify deliverables, gaps and inconsistencies;
• Experience designing, building and maintaining data processing systems;
• Database design, data modelling and Data Warehousing experience;
• Good understanding and knowledge of SSIS, SSRS and SSAS;
• Strong SQL skills;
• Experience in the financial industry is preferred.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum required)
