One of our long-standing clients in the financial services space is currently looking for a Data Scientists, based at their offices in Johannesburg.

Education and Experience Required:

• BSc Actuarial Science, or BSc Honours in Data Mining or Statistics or Mathematical Statistics or Applied Mathematics, or BSc in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a Data Science capacity (data mining, statistical modelling or mathematical modelling).
• minimum of three (3) years’ experience utilizing data mining or statistical modelling software: MatLab, or SAS Enterprise-Miner, or SPSS, or KNIME, or WEKA, or RapidMiner
