We are recruiting a Database Administrator who has experience developing and maintaining databases and compiling reports

The main purpose of the role is to provide seamless solutions for improved access to quality data from large projects.

Key duties and responsibilities
Provide solutions by developing data collection and management tools
Develop and define database physical structure and functional capabilities; database security; data back-up and recovery specifications
Maintain database performance by calculating optimum values for database parameters; implement new releases, complete maintenance requirements and Performance Indicators Supports database functions by designing and coding utilities
Capacity development of users
Must be meticulous, detail orientated with a commitment to ensure auditable practices are followed
Matric
BTech Degree or IT Qualification
2-3 years within data reporting environment
