CREDITORS / DEBTORS CLERK

A TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS COMPANY IN THE EAST RAND HAS THE ABOVE-MENTIONED VACANCY AND SEEKING SUITABLE CANDIDATES TO APPLY.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The incumbent will be responsible for Creditors / Debtors for the Company, these will be set out on commencement of work. The ideal candidate should have experience above average computer skills and excellent communication skills.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Debtors / and or Creditors Reconciliation experience essential;
• Must have 2 – 3 years’ experience working Debtors and Creditors, full function;
• Experience working with large clients on Debtors will be advantageous;
• Experience in handling large creditors will be advantageous;
• Administrative skills such as keeping a filing system for invoices and proof of payments.
• Must have problem solving skills.
• Be able to take own initiative on daily tasks.
• Being able to work on excel would be advantageous as some reports are done using excel using various formulas such as:
o Vlookup, Sumif, Averages, Autosum etc., accuracy and efficiency is essential;
o Knowledge of Pivot tables - doesn’t have to be an expert
• Must be Microsoft Office Package Proficient:
o MS Word
o MS Excel
o Outlook
• Be able to type using correct grammar and spelling and professional email etiquette.

Requirements:
• Must have completed Grade 12 and if in the possession of a qualification will be advantageous;
• Own Transport and Drivers licence.
• English/Afrikaans speaking.
