Debtors & Creditors Clerk Montague Gardens

A well-established client of ours is looking for a Debtors & Creditors clerk with solid experience. Must come from a Building / Construction / Rental Equipment, Engineering, Electrical industry.

Position Type: 3 months contract with an option to go Permanent after the 3 months.
Office hours: Mon – Thurs: 8 am to 16:00 and Fri 8 am to 14:00
Salary: R10 000.00 – R15 000.00 per month

Minimum Requirements:
• Matric
• 5+ years of Creditors experience
• 5+ Years of Debtors experience
• Must have Rental of products experience.
• Must have experience within the following industries: Building / Construction / Rental Equipment, Engineering
• Computer Literate: Word, Excel, Outlook, Sage Pastel Accounting / Partner / Express

Key Duties:
Creditors Function:
• Process of Supplier Invoices to correct Cost Centre.
• Reconcile & Balance as per Statement Received
• Handle of Account queries
• Send POP to Supplier pertaining to Invoices Paid.
• Compliant of all Legal TAX requirements on Supplier Invoices
Debtors Function:
• Customer Invoices & Statements
• Handle of Account queries
• Calling Clients for Payment Due
• Handing Customers Over and follow up.
General:
• Assisting Senior Bookkeeper with Overflow
• General Office Support
