Overview
Our client, a leading and well-respected producer and much-admired brand, redefines the industry and changes the way consumers feel, taste, see, smell and experience Hospitality and Wine produced.
We are seeking a Deli Manager that can assist in creating an immersive experience that captures the imagination and build emotive connections between or guests and brand alike.

Position Objective
Providing outstanding customer services through profound management strategies whilst applying deep insight into handling food rotation, stock management and staff oversight activities with required precision.
He/she ensures great communication channels to the team and assist with overall management of hospitality department during working hours to ensure service excellence and brand values are always met.

Responsibilities / Duties
Create staff schedules and ensure that all staff members adhere to them.
Interview, select, hire and train deli staff members according to established criteria.
Ascertain that all employees follow standard operating procedures.
Apply good code of conduct standards throughout the team.
Develop promotional programs to increase awareness about the deli’s products.
Oversee the work of front of house deli staff to ensure that they are providing proper customer service.
Monitor back of house operations to ensure on-time delivery of deli products to front of house.
Create and maintain effective liaison with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
Monitor and maintain stock levels daily and ensure that any low stock situations are handled by ordering in from suppliers.
Control bakery production, waste, and inventory. Maintain budgeted cost of sales percentages
