One of our clients, a multi-national dairy and food company has a vacancy for a Demand Business Analyst at their branch in Stellenbosch.

The purpose of this job is to ensure the most accurate forecast to support the business targets.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Daily monitor of sales vs. forecast with the objectives to enable the Supply Chain to respond in an optimal way.
Analyse historical sales patterns and create or maintain future baseline demand plans.
Analyse historical promotional performance and advise Sales on future promotional uplifts.
Partner with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain colleagues to forecast new products introductions.
Analyse and report the forecast accuracy performance on weekly and monthly basis.
Drive a continuous improvement program.
Be the subject matter expert of the Demand Planning system.
Preparing all analytics and data to support and facilitate the Sales and Operation Planning process.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
Forecasting on various shelf life products.

Minimum Requirements:
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management or related.
APICS or other post graduate qualification in the field of Supply Chain would be advantageous.
2 – 3 years relevant experience in the field of Operations & Supply Chain, preferably in a FMCG environment.
Working knowledge of the Sales and Operations Planning processes.
Excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge and strong statistical knowledge is essential.
Knowledge of forecasting software (FuturMaster advantageous)
