Our client, a financial service provider, requires the service of a Desk Consultant who will be responsible for driving sales and growing market share by quoting for a select panel of Brokers.

Key performance areas:

? Drive new business sales by quoting for a select panel of brokers
? Building and maintaining broker relationships
? Sign off on rates, underwriting limits and underwriting guidelines

The successful candidate must have:

? Matric with a completed RE5 qualification
? 2 years’ experience in a similar role
? 5 years’ experience in short term insurance environment
? Financial Services experience in a marketing/sales environment
? Financial Services Product Knowledge (Sanlam and competitors)
? Must be client focused and result driven
? Computer literacy – Microsoft office & must be able to do system processing
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Fully bilingual – English & Afrikaans)
? Effective negotiation skills
? Be able to work under pressure
