Purpose of the job To develop new, or improve existing software products or administration tools through innovation and research of different technologies to provide a blasting solution.

Required outputs: Functional
• Develop control equipment to generate better blasting solutions.
• Design and develop necessary firmware/software solutions for successful project completion.
• Create a system, test and technical specifications for new products.
• Compile test reports on new products that have been tested.
• Develop and write components and interfaces as required.
• Keep abreast of global developments in the internet and software technology and to provide direction with regard to software developments.
• Integrate the Software Development with the business strategy, customer requirements and electronic detonator chip technology development.
• Assist the installation and commissioning of new software into client sites and to interface and satisfy clients in this process.
• Create a system, test technical specifications for new products.

Requirements:

Qualifications and expertise required (Must)
• A Degree or Postgrad in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5 Years’ experience and C++/QT experience.
• Mobile Applications at the commercial level, Android/IOS required.
• Web development experience with JavaScript, HTML5, PHP, CSS
• Experience with OpenGL, SQL, Linux and Windows.
