Job Purpose
The purpose of the role is to provide a comprehensive development management service from planning, design and construction phase, right through to the total occupation of the development.

Qualifications and skills

•A BSc Degree/ Degree in Property Development or Built Industry related qualification
•A project management qualification would be an advantage
•5 to 8 years’ experience as a development manager or in a similar role
•Experience with projects exceeding R100 Million or 200 dwellings
•Excellent knowledge of property regulations

Responsibilities
•Inspecting and appraising new land opportunities
•Management of land acquisition and planning issues
•Ensure that the site gets planning approval and acquires building rights
•Develop and prepare project scope documents for all projects
•Prepare, monitor and control budgets in line with company and project requirements
•Monitor the progress of each project against the project scope
