Our client urgently requires 5 x qualified and experienced Diesel Electrical Fitters at their depot for contracts in Africa. ESSENTIAL MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Technical / College Certificate or equivalent education – Qualified Diesel Electrical Fitter (Trade Test); Must have extensive general electric locomotive experience; Must have a valid driver’s licence with no endorsements; Must have relevant working experience; Must possess supervisory abilities; Must possess mathematical and reasoning abilities as well as being able to communicate fluently in English and Afrikaans and have excellent written communication abilities. Must be prepared to work overtime and willing to be placed on standby. Must be willing to work in Africa for long periods of time with caboose living. Candidates from out of town will be considerate if they are willing to relocate at their own cost.
