You will focus in digital marketing, business intelligence data and analysis, using a combination of their marketing tools (e.g. Google and Facebook Ads, Google Analytics, etc) and BI tools (e.g. SQL, Spreadsheets, PowerBI, etc.) to meet evolving business needs. Your key job responsibilities as the Digital Data Analyst in Cape Town will include:

- Working with different analytic tools, stakeholder relations with embedding change
- Carrying out analysis and documentation tasks to ensure that the project deliverable is the ideal solution for the business
- Monitoring channel and traffic classification, managing Google Analytic views, reporting and analytics in all digital and social media channels
- Ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all phases of digital tracking: data acquisition, data processing and reporting
- Retrieving data from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google Analytics, SEO/SEM and other sources and aggregate results into a proprietary database
- Analysing, measuring and interpreting digital and social media KPIs with the ability to deliver insights in a constructive and concise manner
- Monitoring activity on an ongoing basis to identify optimisation opportunities
- Providing a holistic view of media impact across channels and product properties in order to tie campaign performance together across paid, owned and earned platforms
- Implementing ad-hoc projects to build data resources, enhancing reporting and delivering cross campaign analytical insights
- Providing training to the teams on all web related terminology and recommending changes in website and reporting tools - Google Analytics and Supermetrics etc.

Requirements for this Digital Data Analyst job in Cape Town:

- A degree in either Mathematics, Business, Engineering, Data Science or Marketing
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in marketing campaign measurement
- Experience using online customer data to make recommendations for website optimization through A/B test and other techniques
- Experience in configuring and managing marketing attribution systems
- Strong abilities with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- Experience using data visualization tools i.e. Google Data Studio, PowerBI etc.
- Proficient in manipulating data through SQL, Excel or Google Sheets
