Our client is a fast-paced, successful multi-media giant. They own and manage about 6 publications (magazines – online and print, seasonal and monthly), a television show (The Gardener), 2 major shows (in JHB and DBN), a few very well-known YouTube channels for major retailers, and some other events like the “Open Gardens” event locally.

They are looking for a Digital Marketing Intern to work alongside their Digital Marketing Manager.

Expectations:
To assist the Digital platforms team and manger in all functions related to the running of the company’s multiple social media platforms and brands on them

Daily tasks include:

Gathering social media assets from clients, compiling them and posting.
Schedule admin related to posts
Compiling reports on reach and engagements on various platforms for each client
Updates for internal marketing on all social media platforms, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, twitter
Answering questions and comments on all the above platforms, extending feedback on these questions and comments to the team, compiling monthly reports


Requirements:

Open to learning and sharing information, brainstorming campaign design and assisting in all the admin related to the digital realm of our company. We are a small team and often there are projects which work across teams and so assisting the goals of the company as a whole may be necessary at times.
Qualification: A short course in Either marketing, social media, digital marketing etc is welcome
No experience required
Thea company is based in Bothas Hill, KZN. Candidates must please live in the area (commonly known as the Upper Highway area which includes: Kloof, Westville, Pinetown, Hillcrest, Bothas Hill and Assagay)
