About the Role:
Opportunity available for a Digital Marketing Specialist 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing. Through a combination of organic social messaging, online advertising and content placement, the primary objective of this role is to generate leads for our services, events and brands.

Requirements:
Essential:
5+ years’ experience in a similar role
Online advertising platforms and ad serving tools for LinkedIn, Google etc.
Analytics tools for websites and social media
Content management systems such as WordPress or Wix
Demonstrated ability to produce accurate, error-free, engaging content within tight deadlines
Graphics and video creation
Microsoft 365 and/or other cloud-based collaboration tools
Advantageous:
A natural connector who personally creates mutually beneficial connections using platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter and online communities.
Connections within the South African media industry.
Experience in a B2B or software development company.
Awareness of international markets and platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or relevant field.

Duties:
Formulate cross-channel advertising campaigns on a quarterly basis for a variety of products/services to reach respective audiences.
Allocate online advertising budget effectively across digital platforms to achieve optimal results.
Proactively monitor advertising campaigns to iterate and tweak for reach and effectiveness.
Drive visitors to the information they seek through Search Engine Optimisation and related activities.
Constantly identify new information portals that match our marketing objectives through which to disseminate content.
Work with public relations connections to place content or secure placement opportunities.
Set, aim for, and report on targets of increased website traffic, enquiries and quality leads.
Prepare and disseminate posts that obtain quality engagement on social media channels based on the content available across our websites, brochures and educational material.
Plan, implement, monitor and report in real-time and retrospect on social media and communication campaigns and strategies.
Proactively track disseminated content to iterate and tweak for reach and effectiveness.
Contribute to upcoming event agendas, presentations and scripts to incorporate into promotional and post-event messaging and to provide speakers with insights on content to include that will generate future engagement online.
Generate social content during various events (e.g. webinars, conferences).
Identify and act on opportunities for the brands to contribute to trending themes or ideas.
