Job Purposes: Primarily accountable for the execution of the policies, plans and strategies as determined by members of the Executive Committee (MEC), for the management of the maintenance of infrastructure. These responsibilities include medium and long-term planning and organizing with technical function areas. To ensure that planning and provision are informed by use requirements to ensure interdepartmental and institutional alignment.

Minimum Requirements:
* 4 Year academic qualification in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Architecture or equivalent
* Eight (8) years working experience in Property Development - specifically new and refurbished construction.
* Registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa or other relevant Professional body
* PMP certification desirable.
* A working knowledge of project management software (such as PPO)with regard to management of property development projects
* A valid driver's license.

Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategies and plans aligned with the vision of the organization
* Compile and manage the annual infrastructure related Capital and maintenance budgets for all the campuses efficiently and effectively.
* Manage the maintenance functions effectively by ensuring reduction in real cost and improvements of facilities.
* Improve the value infrastructure assets of the organization within approved budgets.
* Provide professional planning and Project management services to deliver organization's infrastructure projects in a cost effective manner also addressing client's needs and requirements.
* Oversee the implementation and management of contractual agreements.
* Manage multiple infrastructure related projects from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedule and monitoring budget/spending
