Sovereign, a national supplier of top quality poultry products to markets via various brands is seeking to employ a Dispatch Supervisor in the Agriculture division at its Feedmill in Rosslyn, Pretoria. The incumbent of this position is responsible for effectively utilising all available resources to ensure that that finished goods at the Feedmill are timeously delivered to customers according to the delivery plan. This position reports directly to the Logistics Co-ordinator.
The successful incumbent should have a matric certificate or equivalent, be computer literate and have at least 3 years dispatching experience in a Feedmill. Previous truck maintenance or operating experience would be an advantage.

Results Required
• Monitor farm bin stocks and report low stocks to the Logistics Co-ordinator;
• Liaise with bulk feed transporter to ensure that vehicles are maintained and that breakdowns are immediately attended to;
• Ensure that vehicles are washed, cleaned and disinfected before delivering feed and in addition, flushed before loading with breeders and rearing feed;
• Regularly inspect areas to ensure that spillages are addressed and reported on, plant cleaning schedules are followed and that housekeeping is up to standard;
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures relating to work, working conditions, discipline, SHE, BRC and administration;
• Report accurately and timeously on any problems that may occur during the course of carrying out normal duties to a person in authority for further action.
