Join our very well established client in the role of Distribution- / Logistics manager. You will manage quite a large concern having roughly 30 staff member reporting into you. Your direct report is not based in PE so it is imperative that you have the necessary logistics experience and that you know the area well.

We will therefor only consider applicants who are currently residing in PE or used to live there.

You will be responsible for the receipt, dispatch and management of a huge amount of parcels. Your primary objective therefore centres around strict timelines, efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications and experience:

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Transport
• 5 years working experience in an Operational role in a logistics environment (fleet / distribution / logistics / transport / courier)

Some of your duties will include the overall running of the branch, ensure operational cost is in line with budgets, ensure on-time delivery of parcels, ensure operations costs are in line with budget, ensure efficient warehousing with timeous movement of parcels, health and safety, etc.
