Distribution Cross Border Manager – Swaziland
Salary: Market Related, Permanent

Purpose of Position:

Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a Primary Distribution Manager to effectively, and efficiently manage the operational requirements of the Primary Distribution Division in support of the logistics strategy in a well-organized and cost-effective manner so that service excellence to customers and clients can be ensured. FMCG Sector experience essential.

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant Bachelor of Commerce Degree or relevant equivalent
• Membership of Professional Supply Chain or Procurement Bodies
• 3– 5 Years Supply Chain or International Trade experience in the FMCG sector
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to understand and interpret financial reports
• Practical Knowledge of Logistics, Operations and Customs
• Knowledge on International Trade

Duties:

• Ensure the budgeted loads are achieved consistently
• Ensure load rates to deliver top line are met
• Ensure all stock is collected within agreed lead times and accurately.
• Ensure customers’ stock is delivered on time in full (ETIF)
• Manage Primary Distribution Clients’ communications
• Rigorous management & control of cost within defined parameters
• Ensure Waste/ Damages are eliminated
• Ensure trucks and trailers are in sound working, licensed condition
• Enforce a disciplined, constant process compliance
• Provide accurate daily, weekly, monthly and periodic reports timely
• Maintain, improve and measure operational efficiency standards
• Provide quotations and submit bids for Primary Distribution Transport timely
• Effective management of third-party transporters/ Subbies
• Ensure AR are collectable and provide all requisite documents for billing
• Manage assets effectively
• Effective People Management; Coaching, Mentorship, Discipline
