Responsibility

? Design new products and solutions and support product development initiatives including the design and pricing of insurance products and maintenance of existing products.
? Pricing of new group schemes and reviewing of existing group schemes based on claims experience.
? Compilation of product specifications and benefit design, premium rating, profit testing, product technical specifications and in some cases participate in the finalisation of documentation per product offering.
? Develop business models and client proposals for new businesses, ventures, products and channels.
? Monitoring profitability of new and existing schemes and products, product risks and financial management to ensure business success for Group Benefits.
? Setting pricing bases, including reviewing and updating existing bases.
? Calculation of monthly reserves
? Company and ORSA calculations
? Reviewing and updating reserving, company and ORSA methodology and assumptions.
? Sign-off on group scheme quotations and renewals.
? Oversee and continuously develop the quotation and renewal processes.
? Design, amend and implement tools and pricing models to support the pricing functions within the business.
? Assist in the development of the IFRS17 assumptions, bases and models for Group Benefits.
? Provide technical assistance to the Group Benefit distribution and administration functions.
? Ensure all products and schemes are TCF compliant.
? Adhoc investigations

Qualification and Experience

? Nearly/Newly Qualified Actuary
? Minimum of 3 years experience in a general Group Benefits environment
? Minimum of 5 years management experience
