CAREER OPPORTUNITY – ELECTRICAL ASSISTANT
LOCATION: Montague Gardens
POSITION OVERVIEW: A well-established electrical manufacturing company in Montague Gardens is seeking an experienced electrical assistant. The successful candidate will need to be in possession of a minimum of an N3 Electrical qualification.
ROLE SPECIFICATION • Install / Repair electrical DB boards, electrical and operating equipment, light fixtures, controls, outlets and wiring.
• Responsible for following details electrical schematics and diagrams in order to complete electrical installations.
• Must have the ability to use all needed hand tools for routing, securing and trimming wire.
• Neat panel wiring is requisite.
• Panel building, design and layout of electrical panels.
• Connect/reconnect electrical motors.
• Circuit fault finding.
• Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Qualification and experience: • Grade 12
• Minimum N3 Electrical qualification.
• 1 – 2 years electrical experience.
• Marine Electrical experience advantageous.
